Puerto Rico I arrived in San Juan on Ash Wednesday, a mere day after the mayhem of Fat Tuesday, and the colorful masks, unique to Puerto Rico, were everywhere in the old Medieval city surrounding the fort. I headed off into the El Yunque rainforest to view the full eclipse of the sun from atop of a Spanish tower built in the 1500's. I saw the sun go down over the beach, ate incredible local cuisine, saw several rockin' Latin bands in the old city, drank the freshest pina colodas and got on a plane, having been gone less than a day and a half.
